➀ Day 1 ☆
Few months ago, I bought a new camera, Casio Fr100.In comparison to XiaoYi Action Camera, Fr is much easier to operate.
With the help of the controller, I can clearly see what I am actually shooting.
However, the wide angle always stretches the images and hence turnout distorted 😟
All photos here are taken by Fr throughout the journey!
Another point that worth mentioning, the photos contrast is beautiful and the wide angle issues eventually will make you look taller when taking a full body photo!
Ok. I talk too much about the Camera, Lets stick back to the main topic!
We are flying with Emirates Airline this time.
Long haul flight of Emirates usually transit in Dubai, as the airlines are owned by United Arab Emirates.
Since we already flew to Dubai, we decided to do something there during transit.
Our flight depart at Singapore's time 1.40am
Flight duration: 7 hour 10min, Time difference between SG and Dubai -4hours
We touched down at 4.50am Dubai time (Singapore time 8.50am)
and Yes, we left the custom immediately as we have limited time.
(Remember to inform the officer that you are a transit passenger, they will question you, the duration of your stay)
After refreshing ourselves, we still have ample time for a cup of hot coffee.
and we really need some caffeine to keep us awake, at least a bit. 😁
After Coffee time, we make our way to Burj Khalifa!
The journey from Dubai Airport to Burj Khalifa by Taxi, took around 20-30 minutes (usual traffic)
I can't recall how much the fare was😐, but it was fairly affordable. (by taximeter)
We purchased tickets to Burj Khalifa observation deck in advance via online booking.
This save us a lot hassle, we just have to proceed to the entrance and collect our ticket at the self-service kiosk.
Website to purchase: Click Me
Price: For level 124,
8.30am-5pm or 7pm till close (non-prime hours) → AED125
5pm-7pm (prime hours) → AED200
There are 3 observation decks in Burj Khalifa on level 124,125 and 148.
The price mentioned above allow you to take lift to level 124 and go up to level 125 by stairs.
However the ticket price for level 148 are almost twice of level 124.
I personally don't think there will be a huge differences between the two, remember law of diminishing? ☺️
Entrance of Burj Khalifa observation deck open at 8.30am sharp.
The journey from entrance to the lift, filled with the Burj Khalifa's construction timeline, models and videos.
We look exhausted, right? and In fact, we really were.
Thanks to jet lag and long haul flight 😓
However, we put all our tiredness behind the moment the lift opened!
It was spectacular! The view on top of the tallest building on earth is extremely beautiful!
But the weather in Dubai aren't giving us a good time as it is at a high of 40 degree celsius😨
Love this shot so much, look at that shadow of Burj Khalifa!
Everything become so tiny. 😆
Our "cool" version of tourist photo ✌🏻️
Not forgetting the exterior of Burj Khalifa, but the weather is way tooooo hot.
We can barely open our eyes.😑
After visiting Burj Khalifa, we walk to The Dubai Mall (right beside Burj Khalifa), the largest shopping mall in the world 😱
Size of The Dubai Mall equal to the size of 50 football field. There is even an aquarium and underwater zoo inside the mall!!!
The exact moment we saw a comfortable sofa inside the Mall was undescribeable.
Then the next second, Dennis is into his Lala Land 😂
Our next flight depart at 3pm, so we got to get ourself back in airport by 12pm.
There are shower facilities in the restroom of Terminal 3 (post-security) but without towels and shower foam etc.
So we took a quick shower and got comfortable ready for our next flight!
The link below are video we took when visiting the Burj Khalifa, feel free to have a look =)

Hope that in the near future, I can visit Dubai again and their desert!
To be continue...
